This is the last 10 seconds of the game. It takes almost five minutes to play out the last one second, becaues of the crowd. Gameplay is followed by an emotional interview with Giants receiver Plaxico Burress. The New York Giants clinch a stunning victory over the previously undefeated New England Patriots. Big Blue spoiled the Pats' chance to make NFL history by being the first time ever to go 19-0. The only in modern NFL history to have a completely undefeated season right through the Superbowl was the 1972 Miami Dolphins, who won the Superbowl and ended the season with a 17-0 record. This was the Giants' first Superbowl win in 17 years.

A Palestinian Woman (2006)
This documentary short film brings the viewer close to the conditions isolating Palestinians within their communities. It is filmed next to the separation barrier that Israel continues to build in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Terry Boulatta, mother, teacher and community activist, shows how the 27 foot high wall surrounds her neighborhood in East Jerusalem, dividing it from the adjacent community of Abu Dis, severing the historical bonds of the two communities. The wall contributes to the suffocation of life, the latest reality for Palestinians under occupation.
Terry takes us on a half hour drive to get from one side of the wall to the other, a trip that previously took only four minutes. We learn of the terminals and checkpoints through which Palestinians must pass to travel within their own territory.
Terry speaks of the illegal settlements and land confiscations as elements of apartheid, making the settlers "the masters of the land".

In the Path of the Wall
A short film showing a non-violent direct action against the Israeli Apartheid Wall in the West Bank village of Bil'in on the 20th July 2005. Four internationals, three Israelis and one Palestinian chain themselves inside a metal cylinder which is placed in the path of the bulldozers that daily come to destroy the land belonging to the village and annex it to a nearby settlement. While the world's attention is fixed on the so-called 'disengagement' from Gaza, the Israeli government is rapidly carrying out settlement expansion and land confiscation and destruction in the West Bank. This film shows the customary force used by the Israeli Occupation Forces when their actions are resisted.

Fitna Part 2 Dutch MP Geert Wilders
WARNING! GRAPHIC CONTENT! Dutch MP Puts Anti-Islam Film 'Fitna' On Web. Geert Wilders, an anti-immigration member of the Dutch parliament, has posted his film criticising the Koran on the internet.
The 16-minute film, called Fitna or "strife", shows images of the terrorist attacks in New York, Madrid and London projected on to blank pages of a replica of the Koran, with interspersed verses from the holy book calling on Muslims to "strike terror" into their enemies' hearts.
The film begins and closes with the image of the Prophet Mohammed with a bomb in his turban, as depicted by a Danish cartoonist in 2005, an incident that provoked a Muslim backlash against Denmark.
"This is not a provocation but the hard truth... My film was not made to provoke violence," Wilders says. "I think Islam and the Koran endanger freedom in the Netherlands and I should warn people about this. It's five minutes to midnight and this is the last warning for our freedom."
Wilders says he was forced to release the film on the internet after Dutch broadcasters refused to show it.

Total Lunar Eclipse 28 August 2007
This is a five minute high-speed video of fourty minutes of footage of the moon coming out from under the earth's shadow during a total lunar eclipse. Playing in the background is a couple of tracks from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. The video doesn't capture the coppery glaze the moon had while sitting in the shadow of the earth, but there's plenty of detail, and the Floyd doesn't hurt. I had to reposition the camera several times, as the moon disappeared from view, punctuating some of the musical riffs with visual movement :)

Remembrance Day Video
The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the signing of the Armistice, on 11th November 1918, to signal the end of World War One. At 11 am on 11 November 1918 the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years continuous warfare. The Okanagan Webcasting Network is producing a Remembrance Day DVD which will be released FREE in the November 8, 2007 issue of the Okanagan Sun. Counterfeit bills are being printed in Canada and shipped across the border hidden in blocks of ice. When the counterfeiters force engraver Bronson to make a new plate, he inscribes a tiny help message on it. Renfrew catches a henchman who has one of the new bills. A magnifying glass lets him read the message and he heads out alone to round up the counterfeiters.
