Interview with Chris Yerbergh of the Oliver Legion. Mr. Yergergh details his involvement in the Legion, and explains what his various medals mean. He also discusses the declining membership of the Legion and what is being done to try to increase it. Also interviewed are two other Legion members, Ron and Frank, both of whom have touching stories to tell. These interviews were conducted at the Oliver Civic Arena in Oliver, B.C. The three men were part of a colour guard taking place during the Oliver Jets WHA hockey game, vs. Lumby.

Renfrew of the Royal Mounted (1937) starring James Newill and Carol Hughes. Counterfeit bills are being printed in Canada and shipped across the border hidden in blocks of ice. When the counterfeiters force engraver Bronson to make a new plate, he inscribes a tiny help message on it. Renfrew catches a henchman who has one of the new bills. A magnifying glass lets him read the message and he heads out alone to round up the counterfeiters.

The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the signing of the Armistice, on 11th November 1918, to signal the end of World War One. At 11 am on 11 November 1918 the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years continuous warfare. The Okanagan Webcasting Network is producing a Remembrance Day DVD which will be released FREE in the November 8, 2007 issue of the Okanagan Sun.
