I was visiting with Kenny Repkow on 070707 (July 7, 2007) and he got talking about how he started his recording studio in Osoyoos. He told me that he really tries to bring his years of professional musical experience into the work he does for his customers. I had my (vhs) video camera pointing at him, sitting on my lap, and so I just hit record. It was dark, and the camera's autofocus struggled at times to get a clear picture, but it's a great "interview", especially because it takes Ken awhile to realize that's what it is :) The Master Factory Studio is located in Osoyoos. Canada Day (2007) Fireworks by Frank Zandvliet of the Osoyoos Fireworks Committee. Soundtrack is composed, performed and engineered by Ken Repkow of The Master Factory Studio in Osoyoos, B.C. David Lynch of the Okanagan Webcasting Network was the announcer. This was the largest fireworks display in the entire nation on Canada Day, with over $50,000 and thousands of man-hours spent in preparation. Ken put hundreds of volunteer hours into preparing the soundtrack. Frank spent hundreds MORE hours than he normally would have, synchronizing his fireworks display to Ken's awesome soundtrack.
